The Caribbean Association of Texas (CAT) is a 501(c)(7) organization, which serves the Caribbean community in Texas. Every year we host a number of events and the proceeds are used to give back to the community.
The Caribbean Association of Texas extends a huge thank you to all the competitors, cricket players, vendors, volunteers, and attendees who made the Curry Duck Competition & Cricket Match on April 19th a resounding success! The aroma of incredible curry duck filled the air, the cricket matches were thrilling, and the community support was truly amazing. We are so grateful for everyone who brought their energy, their tents, their coolers, and their chairs to make it such a memorable day. Proceeds from the event will go towards future CAT events and supporting our community. Stay tuned for updates on our next gatherings!
Membership in CAT is open to all who would like to join, and contribute to the goals of the organization. CAT members hail from many Caribbean nationalities and a variety of professions and membership offers great social and business networking opportunities, and lots of fun.
Our giving back to the community campaigns not only enrich the lives of the recipients, it also gives our members a sense of personal fulfillment.
Our goal is to introduce our Caribbean culture to non-islanders while showcasing our rich uniqueness as a people & as individual islands through our missions/events.
